Speechmark are publishers of high-quality, practical resources for education, health and social care. They came to us to with a desire to develop VASES (Visual Analogue Self-Esteem Scale) as an electronic resource; it having only been previously been produced in printed book form.

VASES is a resource used by professional therapists as a tool for assessing the severity of difficulty patients have in expressing emotions.

So, we developed a resource using Flex Builder and Air, enabling it to run on any operating system, which was then published as a CD.

The resource is installed and run on the therapist’s computer. The resource enables the therapist to record personal patient details, and to run VASES. VASES comprises a series of questions with possible answers represented by simple illustrations of emotions. The patient selects an answer, which the therapist records by clicking the corresponding button, and this result is stored in a database.

The resource is in effect an “app”, storing data in a database with no need to be connected to the internet. It has the appropriate security built in to protect patient confidentiality.

The therapist is able to download the results of the assessment in the form of a report, and comparisons can be made with past and future results.

VASES has been very well received and is being successfully sold with positive feedback. This success lead to the development of a similar resource for assessing patients suffering Aphasia, and we are currently working on two more resources to assess Concentration and Sensory difficulties.

Daro Cane Furniture based in Northampton have recently had their website re-launched by Triad. We have been working with Daro for a number of years and this is our 3rd generation site for them.

Our brief was to create a whole new CMS to allow staff to easily maintain the range of Products, Fabrics, Images and Stockists Database. With our knowledge of Expression Engine, this was the ideal solution owing to the cross referencing and multiple relationships the website contains.

We also launched a Stockist portal, allowing dealerships around the county the facility to view Customer Leads, Stock Availability as well as News & Downloads as supportive information.

Customers are able to view the wide range of Indoor and Outdoor furniture, locate their nearest Stockists, Swatch Ordering and view range of after-sale services including Cushion Replacement.

Oval appointed Triad via a three-way pitch and once appointed our task was to make sure their new website reflected the scale and depth of service offering available.

The site features a great deal of cross linked information from word taxonomy, references to multiple heads of departments based on location and capability plus various news, blog and thought leadership channels. All made manageable by a secure and intuitive content management system.

The website was built using HTML5 and features a secure CMS for their staff to manage content internally.

Althorp gets a facelift

Althorp have been a client with Triad for many years and we have recently completed a new website for the Estate.

Having worked with the Althorp on a number of previous projects, including their last website they came to Triad to give the website a facelift.

The brief was to give the current website a more modern look and feel with the use of strong imagery to give the site more impact. The site also features a new area giving a more detailed overview of the family members and rooms in the house.

The site still features online ticketing for Day Visits and their hugely popular annual Literay Festival and also an online shop for merchandising.

Pudsey’s Dream Wheels Game

We are delighted to announce that the new fun packed Pudsey’s Dream Wheels game conceived, designed and produced by Triad is now live and ready to play.

The game is designed to be fun, novel and engaging for children and adults and primarily aims to raise money for BBC Children in Need, but will also generating awareness of the new Peugeot 208.

You can design your very own exciting and unique version of the Peugeot 208 by choosing from a huge range of body kits, colours and even butterflies and jet engines!

Once you have finished your design, you will be able to enter the Peugeot 208 competition by either donating or buying merchandise. You can choose to have your fun design printed on a T-shirt, hoodie, mug, T-towel or even a mini T-Shirt for Pudsey bear- any purchase will include a 25% donation of the RRP. You will also be able to share your design with friends on Twitter and Facebook.

As with the Perkins Engines virtual exhibition stand, the visitor would control the walkthrough using their curser. The visitor “walks” from main hall to the exhibition hall and once inside they can look around at the exhibitor’s stands and select the stands of interest.

There are links/buttons on the stand that can be clicked to get information, including leaflet dispensers. Clicking on a dispenser opens an e-brochure and video screen and clicking on the screen plays a video. Options include a customer support person and clicking on the person gives contact information including links to email and websites.

Triad has worked with Nationwide Building Society for nearly 25 years. Recognised by Nationwide as an “ideas” resource, Triad has been commissioned to produce many innovative solutions over the years, such as Nationwide’s famous “Takeaway Mortgage” concept.Another, more recent innovation is Nationwide’s Corporate Clothing Online Brochure. With over 5000 “front-line” personnel, Nationwide annually produced a printed catalogue of corporate clothing from which each individual could select their preferred clothing. 

Triad created an impactful digital solution, with beautifully photographed interactive content including images of actual Nationwide staff modelling the clothing ranges. The digital brochure features 360° VR’s of selected items of clothing, zooms to see clothing details and helpful information such as “How to tie scarves/knot ties”. 

The online brochure is updated each year with Nationwide’s clothing collections and avoids the annual cost of expensive printed catalogues.

The exciting imagery has been designed across all communications including a new PPS website, promotional literature, digital media including a comprehensive ebrochure, email marketing, enewsletters, banner advertising and a digital corporate presentation.
 
The ebrochure featured is another example of how interactive media can be best used to present relevant product information to the visitor and allows for fast and easy additions and changes to the content and messages.

White Clarke deliver the world’s best software and consulting services to the auto finance, asset finance and lending sectors. Their products and services are used by over 100 of the world’s leading organisations in 27 countries worldwide.

Triad created the new Group website, which features multi translations including Brazilian, Chinese, French, German and Spanish. 
 
Another key feature is the White Clarke Group Knowledge Centre, a primary information resource for industry briefings, white papers, webinars and videos.
This downloadable knowledge bank includes a registration area, which White Clarke uses to create a database of users and their trail of interests and thus is a major sales initiative. The site also includes a pop-up female presenter.
 
White Clarke is another of Triad’s long-standing clients and we have worked together to create a selection of key marketing tools.

Urenco Xplore – “Enriching the future”

The Urenco Group, with its industry-leading centrifuge technology and 27% global market share, operates in the pivotal enrichment area of the nuclear fuel supply chain which ends with the sustainable generation of electricity for consumers around the world.

Triad was tasked to create a fully interactive programme to present Urenco’s entire credentials. The programme entitled “Xplore” is a step-by-step guide to Urenco’s overall strategy and includes the values, operations, environmental responsibilities and history of the group.
 
The interactive programme is featured on a touchscreen tower in Urenco’s impressive Stoke Poges headquarters reception and is a major attractor to visitors.
 
Triad was also commissioned to create all the main reception features as shown in these images.

Mahle Range Extender Animation

This animation was created in 3D Studio Max and rendered using Mental Ray. 

The engine section had to be developed in parallel with exactly how the engine works; its timing, its firing and all the individual moving mechanical parts. The whole engine was then linked to one node and created to turn over the engine in perfect timing. The environment was created from designs developed at Triad.
 
Triad created the entire sequence from initial storyboard concepts through to the final animation.

Our ideas range from digital annual reports, designs for their new head office, touch screen presentations, virtual walkthroughs, corporate presentations and now their very first iPhone/iPad/Android game.

We have launched our trailer for the brand new 'Richie's World of Adventure Game' which will have 18 game levels taking you on adventures all around the world.

It will be great fun for children and adults; you can save games, enter bonus level games and your results will be posted onto a score board on the Richie Enrichment Facebook page. The first six games will be launched at the end of June 2012 and by the end of 2012 there should be all 18! The main aim of the game is to promote Urenco and the nuclear power industry as a safe and environmentally friendly energy source...but most of all it's to have fun!... we hope you enjoy the trailer!

The trailer will feature at the Big Bang Fair at the NEC, Birmingham during March.

Three Ways School opened its doors in 2007 and now provides Special Educational Needs to over 165 pupils ranging from Reception up to Sixth form.

The brief was to create a new visual website that would be fitting to Parents, Prospective Students and their families as well as the pupils themselves. Three Ways School is a specialist in the South West for Physical and Sensory, is full of creative elements as you walk around the grounds including the amazing Sensory Studio with iPad controlled lighting and sound.

As well as coming up with a creative new style, another major requirement for the School was to create an easy to use Content Management System to enable staff to update content throughout the website including page updates, document downloads and photo galleries.

A Students section of the website was vital for the design allowing pupils of all ages the ability to navigate around the website with information on Homework, After School Club, Image Galleries and even news from Nelly the School Dog!

Our approach to a series of printed and banner advertisements was to emphasise the vast experience, expertise and technical innovation which underpin I Holland’s quality products and high service levels.

Hence the headlines and imagery suggest thinking and intelligence. They also have a technical feel, as the target audience is predominantly pharmaceutical industries across the UK, Europe and the US.

Through the advertising campaign we create a house style, which was taken forward with the design and build of an 8 x 8m exhibition stand for Interpack and Achema shows in Germany.

At the exhibitions the client will play a video we produced for them, with products modelled and animated. Data capture, via a touch screen, of visitor information and specific interests is another stand feature. The software uses a back-end administration system enabling effective lead follow-up after the shows.

In developing the website a main aim was to dramatically improve search engine rankings. This was achieved to great effect through our knowledge of search engine optimisation and applying measures on an ongoing basis.

Following a successful pitch, the David Ross Foundation appointed Triad to develop a new branding for what was Unity College in Northampton in its change to Academy status.

Triad supported the Foundation throughout the consultation process in both online and printed solutions and subsequently created the Malcolm Arnold Academy name and “Broadening Horizons” strapline, the house style, brand identity and the Academy prospectus.

The new Academy specialises in maths and music and Sir Malcolm Arnold, the Northampton-born composer, was one of the most prolific composers of the 20th Century.

Pegasus recently launched their new suite of integrated financial software applications under the name Opera 3.

The brief was to illustrate the integrated nature of the software applications and to create visually fresh and interesting launch material.

We subsequently developed a graphic model of a virtual office to represent the integrated nature of the software. This model was then opened up to show the different departments and related software applications.

An animation was created using the model, showing the virtual office opening up to reveal the suite of software applications. This was played on a screen at the launch and adapted to become a screensaver. We also produced product literature and banner ads as part of the promotional material.

Following a successful tender process, Evance Wind appointed Triad to develop their new website. Not only were they looking to improve the look and feel of their online presence, but also to provide an interactive solution between their sales staff and resellers.

The design process culminated in the launch of a much cleaner, easier-to-navigate site, conforming to web standards and utilising some of the latest front-end techniques. With up-to-date, relevant content and our provision of SEO management and reporting, the site has already seen a large rise in the number of visits and the quality of traffic.

By utilising the built in features of Expression Engine, along with some bespoke custom-built extensions, Triad were able to bring the Evance Wind resellers portal into a more user-friendly environment, providing simple access to technical documents, relevant up-to-date news and events, and a fully-fledged lead management system.

Upon winning the tender for the re-development of the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce website, Triad began work on integrating the Northants Chamber internal CRM system with the content management system. This would enable members of the Chamber to instantly update any information they required concerning their company on the internal CRM system via a simple online interface.

Built on Expression Engine, the member login procedures were augmented to allow the direct connection with the internal CRM system. By utilising the CRM's API, Triad were able to develop the methods by which a member could instantly update their profile on all of the Chamber's systems. The visual design of the site became much cleaner, as did the structure and navigation, making it far more user-friendly; this ultimately improved the users' experiences.

Along with the ability to update member details instantly, we were also able to pull news and events data from the CRM system, along with training course details and the number of places still available on each course. This meant that Northants Chamber staff were able to streamline their internal processes dramatically. They were now able to update the website by simply updating their internal system, with no duplication of data input for the information to appear on the website.

The launch of the site, coupled with our expertise in SEO management, has seen a genuine increase in the quality of traffic to the website. With continued monitoring, reporting and enhancements to the website, we will build on this to ensure the new website secures it standing in the search engines.

For this advertising project, Leicester College gave us a straightforward brief: to increase student numbers with a summer recruitment campaign.

We wanted to create something unique compared to the College's previous campaigns, and those of their competitors, and so we came up with an attention grabbing and humorous approach; the imagery used supported the message to potential students and parents that Leicester College can “help you achieve your aims”.

The media mix was local press, billboards, Adshels, bus sides, radio and cinema advertisings.

Destini - Corporate Branding

Dealing with a completely new financial services company, the brief for this project was to come up with a company name, to establish a brand identity and to promote the new company as a whole through literature, website and signage.

We came up with the name Destini, and created a brand to reflect what was, at the time, a new idea to create a group of IFAs.

We wanted an original approach, so one of our designers created five original oil paintings, each one representing an aspect of the new company: Sunrise – the dawning of a new company; Circles - individual IFAs being part of a group; Global – the reach of the new company; Target – the company’s aims; and Network – the benefits of pooled resources.
