We all need core values
It's rare for a company to be unified and have all departments and employees pulling together and in the same direction and for the same reasons.
For those that do there is one common theme - a clearly defined set of core-values that underpin what they are, how they act and how they behave. They are internal values, values that are practiced, preached and believed in. Everyone. Without exception, is on the same train going in the same direction. Anyone that wants to go the other way should be given two choices. Jump or wait to be pushed.
Your brand, no matter how big or small, is the culmination of a myriad of different elements; your products, the advertising you do, the way you answer your phone, the way you deal with issues, the way you invoice.
